The Place Called Dakak

Not just another stretch of a powdery white sand beach. It has its share of beauty in common with the other amazing beaches in the Philippines, but it has its own beauty to unravel as well. Dakak Beach in Mindanao. The tremendous diving sites of garden coral reefs with perfect blue waters encircling this place.
It is a place of a tropical island ranging 15 hectares wide, instilled in green land and a 750 meter of a secluded white sand beach. Surrounded by mountains on the east side where the shore of Dakak is facing the Sulu Sea, thus being surrounded by other islands to avoid the typhoon belt making the beach of Dakak ideal for a vacation the whole year round.
Found in Zamboanga del Norte, Dakak Beach is a natural attraction, it is very popular in the place where you can see the beautifully shaped cove from afar.
From Manila, one would take a 2 hour flight to Dipolog.
Dakak has clean blue waters where you can dive to your hearts content, and the place is surrounded by flowers and coconut palms making a very rustic tropical island paradise.
The area of Coral Reefs that is famous in Dakak would be in the “Liuay Rock” where soft corals live and the indifferent nudibranchs and unusual kinds of starfish resides in.
The other places would be the caves 60 degrees deep and the with sandy bottoms that are occupied with water where soldier fish, sea plumes and puffer fishes live in. Black coral also reside in these caves.
Ceasar’s Reef
A small reef area with coral covers. The place is rich with big fishes that live in the place of marine life that usually comes in bright colors. Parrot fishes also live in this place. This place is advised for experienced divers only who can handle a couple of indifferent and big fishes in the undertaking.
