The beach is found in the Island Garden City of Samal, off the coast of Davao City. There are many ways to get to Samal. To name some would be via the Marina, the other one would be near Magsaysay Park, via the wharf. The locals are very helpful in giving directions to routes.

Upon reaching Pearl Farm, a very scenic view of panoramic site of hills welcoming your very arrival. Friendly staff will be accommodating and assisting you.

You have the option to stay on Samal houses or Samal suites. The design of a Samal house appears like a native stilt houses. Each room or house accommodation is filled with native crafts and decorations of native art. But the best and is made irresistible would be the very view of the ocean. The spaces are not adjacent to each other in alignment for the privacy of the guest.

The beach is more often than not, secluded beach of clean and clear water that is almost transparent. The waves will gently touch your thighs as you lay in the sand while you catch a glimpse of schools of fishes in it clarity. A fishpond is also situated in the vicinity containing the rarest aquatic animals like the marine turtle and giant taklobo.

There are also other activities in store like scuba diving the amazing coral gardens, jet skiing, riding a rigged boat. After experiencing or testing out our sea skin, you might find yourself interested in underwater photography due to Pearl Farm’s rich marine life.

I have been at German Octoberfests before in different countries, thats be in the centre of picture, kind of a row of beer bottles in front of me, let me tell you about October fest which I really enjoyed in the southern city of Davao on the island of Mindanao.

• They did not have any German beer, did not really matter though.
• Beer I drank was San Miguel, very nice beer, different to the Spanish beer of same name and different pronounciation, I rate this as the best beer I ever had.
• The beer words out at 75 US cents, or 50 Euro cents, which is about 35 peso local currency, I have never seen beer this cheap in Asia, for example Thailand is about twice the average price as the Philippines.
• We had durian fruit and some hot snacks very cheap to eat there, even though the locals were saying its expensive, but of course things are much more expensive in Europe, cost of living etc..

• Also there were live bands there, pretty cool music, Rock kind of theme.
• At the time Jet Li had an advertisement out, “Great beer, Great taste”, how right he was.
