white sand beach in boracay

200 miles south of Manila, Boracay lies surrounded by bodies of water. Boracay used to be a part of Aklan Province in its days when it used to be undiscovered, but it sheered in independence on April 25, 1956. Its discovery hit in the 1970’s and opened its beach stretches to tourism that started to boost up since 1980’s with mostly backpackers on the go.

There are two sides of beaches in this island paradise, White Beach and Bulabog Beach, which both share the same wonders this little island has brought to millions of its visitors.

So many times have people gone to “Bora” (Boracay) and said as their vacation there was about to end, “I felt a tear wanting to roll down my cheek, I didn’t want to leave”. So when I song says that “I left their heart in San Francisco”, it’s possible that you may leave your heart in Boracay as well, alive and still beating.

So there, in full conviction had people found serenity in the arms of a wide stretch encircling the Boracay Island.

You can find spots in seclusion; powdery-shores that enable you to dig your feet in the sand for the longest time, letting the heat of the sun wind up with the breeze while enjoying the scenic view of the light blue sky complimenting the light bluish-clear-sea.

Aside from the daytime activities, the fun never stops there. If Bora is a place where you can lay back and relax, in extreme, as the sun goes down, it is slowly becoming a place where you can have fun and party all night in bars in gigs and events.
