There are many interesting sites in the Philippines that one can go to and visit. Below are some of the “must see” places that will truly fulfill your holiday trip to the beautiful island – the Philippines.

Cebu

The second most vital urban center in the country is none other than the capital of the province of Cebu – Cebu City. It is the oldest city in the country; much older than Manila – the nation’s own capital. The city is situated on the eastern coast of the island of Cebu and is one of the key hubs of international flights to and from the country. It is considered as the most vital center when it comes to commerce, trade and industry; particularly in parts of Mindanao and Visayas. For that reason, as well as so many other key factors, Cebu City was awarded the monicker Queen City of the South.

Cebu City is a twenty (20) minute drive from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport which is found in the Lapu-Lapu City. Try rowing or paddling throughout the eight (8) kilometers of a zigzag subversive river heading towards a crystal clear lagoon. It is also advisable to try a fun experience by strolling around the Monkey Trail.
