3)      Greenbelt

Makati is the central business district of the Philippines and therefore, a lot of people who are into business are in the area most of the time. This is why the gimik spots in the area are a little bit more pricey than those that are not in Makati. Of all the hot spots in Makati, the Greenbelt area, is the most lively and is the most attractive of all he spots. The restaurants here are of the high end type and attracts the more affluent of the population. Bars and restaurants such as Pepato, Nuvo and Temple bar could cost quite a bit and may be too much for a regular employee. For sure however, it is a great place to have a date in and people know that when the gimik is to this place, they have to dress their best.

It would not be unusual to see local show business personalities in the area. While the bars here can attract an older generation because of the prices, a lot of teenagers also seem to find this place ideal for their gimiks.

4)      Timog/Tomas Morato

Before Eastwood and the others hit it big, the Tomas Morato and Timog areas were the most popular places to go to for a gimik. These two streets intersect each other just off of EDSA. For a while it was the only place to go to near this area but then again it could be stronger than ever with the influx of new young investors who are determined to make the area a bigger party place than ever before. And it looks like they are succeeding.

There are a lot of live bands performing in many bars around the area. Moreover, since the two biggest television stations are located right at the edges of these streets, the places are guaranteed to have a few celebrities going out and about the restaurants and clubs. A lot of singers and talented performers like Archie Uy (in Pic) perform in Borromeo Steakhouse and some of the other bars that are perfect for a night out with your friends. The prices are very affordable and if you want a more expensive fare, there are also some places here that could satisfy your needs.

5)      Tiendesitas/ Silver City Libis

What used to be a dead area at the edge of Quezon City and Pasig is now the bustling place that nobody would have thought of ten years ago. I don’t care who you talk to but if they predicted a hot spot at this part of town I could guarantee you that they are lying. Tiendesitas, a shopping complex in the shape of a big hut is where it all began. It became very popular and a slew of establishments sprung up son after. First there’s the SM Hypermart right beside it and then there’s the Big Red Barn for kids and other establishments for partying. Tiendesitas itself is a good place to have a night out with a big concert area and one can have a variety of different food establishments to chose from while listening to good music.

Another big development was the Silvercity area which brought out Alchemy bar, and Café Mondial, two of the hottest restobars right now in Manila. Café Mondial serves exquisite food from all over the world and also attracts A-List guests and disc jockeys. Café Mondial, in itself, is a great reason to go to this party hot spot.
